  • You will receive one Schedule K-1 for each investment entity through which you invested (e.g. VentureSouth Investments D) – NOT one for each portfolio company.

  • K-1s are delivered electronically through Vicinity Ventures. We will notify you when each K-1 is completed.

  • We avoid emailing individual K-1s as a security precaution.

  • If you have not submitted an "electronically delivery consent" this year, or in a previous year, please complete the form at this link.

FAQS

Which K-1s will I receive?

  • If you are a sidecar fund investor, you receive one K-1 for each fund in which you’ve invested.

  • If you are a member investor, you receive one K-1 for each investment entity (each Series LLC or SPV) through which you invested (not one per portfolio company)

  • You will typically receive K-1s from the same entities as you received last year, but check your portfolio page in Vicinity Ventures to see the “investment method” and in your Files to compare with last year - or email any of the team for confirmation.

How can I access my K-1s?

  • You can get your K-1s from the Vicinity Ventures platform from 2025. Follow the login instructions on that page, then on the left side menu select “Documents”.
