How to refer NEW MEMBERS

  • Bring them to the next meeting in your city or online

  • Connect them with Charlie or anyone else on the team

  • Point them to the VentureSouth website to complete an application - and make sure they list you as the referring member

Rewards for referring NEW memberS

  • Referral bonus checks are awarded upon your annual membership renewal. For each new member who joins, submits dues payment, and lists you as the referring member on their membership application:

    • If you pay dues annually, you will receive a $250 check after settling your next membership renewal invoice.

    • If you pay dues monthly, you will receive a $250 check after your next annual renewal.

Is there a limit to how many CREDITS I CAN RECEIVE?

No, there’s no limit on referral credits!

If you refer enough members to more-than-cover your next renewal payment, we’ll accrue the “extra credits” for the subsequent year.

New members can be located anywhere: in your city, in the VentureSouth footprint, or anywhere in the United States.

How do i RECEIVE THE REFERRAL CREDIT?

  • The VentureSouth team will track referral credits for each new member who names you as the referring member

  • The credit will be distributed in the form of a $250 check

  • The VentureSouth team reserves the right to award or withhold credit at its discretion

ARE THERE ANY other terms and conditions?

  • You must complete 12 full months of membership to receive a referral credit

  • No credits can be earned for member renewals

  • However, you can receive credit for persuading a former member to rejoin

  • There are no partial credits

  • This is a voluntary referral program. The dues credit is not income and does not make you an employee or contractor of Vicinity Ventures. Vicinity Ventures reserves the right to discontinue the program at any time. No cash value.
